Why I Build Websites
I work in IT full-time as a Systems Engineer, so I spend a lot of my day dealing with the things most people never see: systems, security, performance, structure, reliability, troubleshooting, and making sure technology actually works the way it is supposed to.
That background has shaped the way I look at websites.
To me, a website is not just something that looks good on a screen. It is part of a business's foundation. It should load quickly, work well on phones, be easy to understand, be secure, and be built in a way that helps search engines and real people understand what the business does.
I started JoshBuilds.Tech because I kept seeing good local businesses being undersold online. Some had no website at all. Others had something outdated, slow, confusing, or locked into a platform that made even simple updates harder than they needed to be. These were real businesses doing good work, but their online presence did not reflect the quality of what they offered.
That is where my IT background and web design work come together.
I care about the visible parts of a website, like clean design, clear messaging, and a layout that makes sense. But I also care about the behind-the-scenes pieces that make a site feel professional: clean structure, fast load times, responsive layouts, secure setup, reliable hosting, and the technical foundations that help Google understand the business.
My goal is simple: help small businesses get a professional website without the agency runaround, confusing pricing, or generic template churn.
